We are pleased that you want to be part of the BAUHAUS Corporate Challenge, a virtual sports event for all BAUHAUS employees in Europe. Be there and step up to the virtual challenge with your colleagues. Set your own personal goal and try to achieve it during the challenge week. Help us to collect kilometers for a good cause. Set your own limit.
The BAUHAUS Corporate Challenge Europe combines elements such as team building, health, charity, competition and lots of fun in one digital event for all BAUHAUS locations across Europe. Set yourself a personal goal and try to achieve or even beat it during the challenge week. Afterwards you will receive a BAUHAUS medal as an award. 🏅 However, you have to cover at least 5 km - that's how much of a challenge it has to be! And by participating, you're not only doing something good for your health: at the same time, you're collecting kilometres for a good cause.
Who may participate?
All BAUHAUS employees are eligible regardless of age group, performance level, country or hierarchy!
How can you collect kilometers?
It is up to you whether you run, walk, hike or ride a bike. Complete your own favorite route, no matter where. With the help of your smartphone and the specially developed app, you can record your personal progress. So get out into the fresh air and collect kilometers.
A little bit of sport is necessary: Please note that all activities slower than 3 km/h or faster than 50 km/h will be filtered out for technical reasons and therefore not recorded. So try to stay within this speed range during your activities.
When and how often can you participate?
You can take part as often as you like from September 18 to 24, 2023 and collect kilometers.
Charity
The charity aspect is not neglected either. For every kilometer hiked/walked or run, BAUHAUS will donate €1. For every kilometer completed by bicycle, BAUHAUS will donate € 0.50 to the good cause.

A COMMON GOAL.
Team building across borders.
With the BAUHAUS Corporate Challenge you can compete with your colleagues from all over Europe in a sporting competition and do something good at the same time. Earn kilometers anywhere between September 18 and 24, 2023 - whether you are in Iceland, Turkey or any other country in Europe. You can either walk (run / hike) to the start or ride your bike, and that as often as you want. All you need to have your kilometers officially recorded is your smartphone and the BAUHAUS Challenge app. But regardless of whether it's a virtual challenge or a relaxed training session without pressure to perform: Every kilometer counts for a good cause. The common goal is to collect as many kilometres as possible. For this, the activities of all participants are added up and increase the kilometer counter. Together with your colleagues, you can actively contribute to increase the amount donated.

Commitment is a matter of honor kilometers
Everyone should benefit from our sweat: Therefore, BAUHAUS will donate €1 for every kilometer hiked/walked or run. For every kilometer completed by bicycle, BAUHAUS will donate € 0.50 to the good cause. At the end of the challenge, the amount will be spread to various charitable institutions and social projects in all countries in which BAUHAUS has a store. So you can actively contribute to increase the amount donated. What are you waiting for?

SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE.
Always connected with your colleagues.
Even if you do not cover your kilometers with your colleagues in the same place, you can still share your route experiences or your most beautiful moment with them while participating. Post your photo, video or other input on your social channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) and use the hashtags #teamBAUHAUS or #bauhauscorporatechallenge. Your input will then appear on the social wall.

Current results and rankings
Who has currently collected the most kilometers? Which BAUHAUS country is the most active and which location has the most participants? And have I already reached my personal goal?
In the Results section the "Leaderboard" shows you your and your colleagues' current preliminary results. In addition, we publish further interesting statistics, comparisons and evaluations on the individual countries and locations on a daily basis.
